L&M Corrugated Container Corporation was established in 1979 in Zion, Illinois by Dick Lopes, a well-versed industry executive with prior experience working at a prominent Chicago packaging firm.
Since our founding, our family-operated business has experienced remarkable growth, expanding and upgrading our facilities with state-of-the-art equipment, cultivating a loyal clientele, and winning acclaim and respect along the way. Passed down through generations, Steve Lopes, the founder’s son, led the company for many years. Having played a significant role in the company while working alongside his father, Steven Lopes, Richard’s grandson now serves as the President and CEO of L&M.
Today, L&M operates two advanced manufacturing plants in Wisconsin, based in Platteville and Pleasant Prairie. With immense coverage throughout Southern Wisconsin, Northern Illinois, and parts of Northern Iowa, we operate daily routes to Milwaukee, Madison, Chicago, and Dubuque.
Each month, L&M converts 30 million square feet of corrugated packaging. Behind this large number are our more than 130 skilled employees, focused on providing exceptional packaging solutions.
At L&M, our customers come first. We embody a proactive, can-do attitude and are committed to doing whatever it takes to meet the needs of our clients. At our company’s core, we value integrity, honesty, hard work, accountability, and respect, which guide us in delivering high-quality products and services. Dedicated to continuous improvement and innovation, we seek to exceed the expectations of our customers and maintain our standing as a trusted leader in the industry.
