Through partnerships with local organizations and the kindness of our employees, we’re turning the spirit of giving into meaningful action.
Here’s how each of our locations is making a difference this holiday season:
Pleasant Prairie: The Giving Tree Tradition
In collaboration with the Sharing Center of Kenosha County, our Pleasant Prairie team is brightening the holidays with a Giving Tree. Each ornament represents a requested gift or popular item that can put a smile on the faces of those who rely on the Sharing Center’s services. These items may include books, craft items, pajama sets, board games, or the like. Employees select ornaments and fulfill these wishes, with L&M stepping in to ensure no ornament is left on the tree.
Platteville: Providing Comfort Through Essentials
Our Platteville office is working to supply residents of Family Advocates, a domestic violence shelter, with items on their wish list. Their list includes things such as toilet paper, paper towels, deodorant, soaps, and other everyday essentials – simple yet vital items. This effort ensures that residents have the basic items they need to feel comfortable and supported during the holiday season.
Kimberly: A Family Christmas to Remember
Partnering with Outagamie County, our Kimberly team has “adopted” a family of 10, struggling to afford the holiday celebration they deserve. The family shared a wish list, and together our employees are working to bring joy and relief to them and fulfill as many of their requests as possible. This effort showcases the power of a community coming together to support one of its own and ensures that the family experiences the magic of the season despite their challenges.

As the season unfolds, let’s remember that even the smallest acts of kindness can have huge impacts. Whether giving a handmade gift, providing a warm meal, donating essential items, or simply providing a generous helping hand, each act creates a ripple of joy that can extend far beyond the holidays.
